You may not know the name yet and you might not recognize the face but
Rebecca Tutka is a name to remember because there's a good chance you'll
be hearing a lot more about her in the future! Becky is a successful 15 year old
gymnast training at Parkettes Gymnastics in
Allentown, PA. Becky is a former international elite gymnast now training level 10.
In about 10 years, Becky evolved from a beginner gymnast
to an elite and she shows a ton of talent and potential. In 2006, Becky
finished 9th at the PA Level 10 State Championships, 5th at the Regional
Championships, and she qualified to compete at the JO Level 10
Nationals. Shortly after her level 10 success, Becky qualified to the
elite level that summer. Becky also had an impressive comeback from double elbow surgery in 2008.
She finished 6th all-around at Level 10 States and Regionals and went on to finish an impressive 12th
out of 56 competitors at J.O. Nationals.
